For many years I've used a Brother QL-560 label printer. It only prints in Black but is great for what I need. You can get different size rolls of paper.

You might consider doing your backup using Acronis software (www.Acronis.com) . If you do it is worth looking around for discount deals.

I would have thought the bandsaw was the most practical as you can use a fence tokeep lines straight. A scroll saw should produce a better cut but more difficult to keep straight and would take longer.

Perhaps someone can persuade 'The Repair Shop' to do a proper job of repairing a frame and demonstrating what's involved. They normally get one of their experts in other skills to 'fix' frames.

The implication is that the poster is not valuable (if the customer agrees to cutting). Worth checking because you don't want him/her coming back saying you didn't warn him/her about loss of value - get a written disclaimer.

If you don't want to make a jig Rockler make a Router Table Spline Jig. https://www.rockler.com/rockler-router-table-spline-jig It is sold in the UK and if you look around you can get it at a discount price. There are a number of reviews on You Tube.
