Nollaig Shona

Post by Moglet »

Hi all,

Just a short note to wish you all a very happy Christmas. Sorry I've been away for so long, but I've been very unwell for some time. All going well, I'll be visiting more often in the New Year.

I miss you all very much, and even if it's behind the scenes, just knowing that you are there and the belief you have in me and the support you have so generously given me has been helping to give me strength to keep going. I can't put into words how deeply grateful I am for the gift of your friendship: it's one of the greatest blessings life has ever bestowed upon me.

((((((( The Forum ))))))))

With much love, and the very best wishes to all that 2009 will go well,

Mogs

Sorry to hear you were not so well……wishing you a wonderful Christmas and may 2009 be all that you expect….

As an addition I’m posting the poem my young son wrote that was put on his school Christmas card this year….I hope you like it…….for a young man who could not string two words together a year or so ago it is a wonderful achievement on his part………..a super present for Jean and myself….

Hi all, and thankyou for your heartwarming messages. Just a quick visit to wish you all "Athbhliann faoi mhaise!" and let you know that I'm still breathing. Still very fragile, and fretful to boot.

If I may paraphrase The Verve, this neatly summarises my last 6 months...

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll [read your posts] again...

I'd so dearly love to be going to Spring Fair, but the agoraphobia's so severe at the moment, I'd never manage it.... :(

BTW, if you have a mind, please say some prayers, keep fingers crossed, and wink at nearby crucifixes: there's a light coming toward me, and I'd really prefer if it were not of the oncoming train variety.... ;)

Hey Áine
Good to see you back, with your sense of humour nearly in tact.

You know you have our prayers and best wishes.

I think most of us are wondering the origin of that light that is rapidly approaching. Maybe its the sunshine. :D

Your fingers have found the keyboard now my wee Colleen, so please do not stop.
