Hi Folks, just wondering if anyone else has received a dodgy e-mail from a "Dr working abroad" who wants to fit his new offices out with "moulding"? Here is a cleaned up version of the mail:
"Sir/Madam,

My name is Dr. xxxxx xxxxx presently on offshore contract in Middle East . I want a supply of Moulding wood frame for my new office block in UK . I want to book for the date of supply on 23 March 2012 with the estimate cost of £3,500 . The Pick Up agent is securing the ware house for the delivery of the supplies. I will inform you with the delivery location before the pick up date as i want the supplies to be picked up from your company by the pick up agent. I want you to include all your sur charges from the credit card in my bill. Get back to me with the quotes of the supply and delivery details and the payment will be made with credit card only. If you accept credit card.

I await for your response,

xxxxxxxxxx
Fax:xxxx
Phone number: xxxxx"

It looks like on of those Nigerian scam type e-mails to me. Poor English and making no real sense. I am interested to know how they make money from this if anyone knows or can work it out.

However, if you do think this is genuine; just let me know and I will let you have the full contact details! :Slap:

If only these scammers would get someone to phrase these mails in colloquial English, they might be dangerous. :giggle:

I find if you delete everything that comes into your inbox from people you don't know then you don't go far wrong. :giggle:

Still gutted I've not got it. Perhaps it has been filtered out by my phone, but there again I have had the usual offer of Russian brides and Viagra. :giggle:

I had an email this evening asking me if I wanted to find the secret to satisfying my woman.....

I emailed back saying thank you very much but I already know how to satisfy my woman – I give her 100 quid and she goes shopping for shoes, cloths or handbags

I had a framing one the other day. Someone from the UAE wanted to "...by some fine art..." [sic] for a UK customer. All they wanted was my bank details so the could transfer the money direct......

...and yesterday was my birthday...
