Business card… ideas

Hi, now that I have the framing equipment, I was thinking of having business cards made up. And I'm looking for some guidance/advice on what you would recommend if anything. Does anyone have templates that are available? All ideas welcome.

Many thanks.

Well being new at this game... I can't really say what I would like to see posted. However as your experience spans over the years would you not have a better idea on what should be posted? A piece of work you’d like to share? I do like the sound of the triple mount and slip. I do appreciate your co...

Hi John, Yeah I've looked through the Hints & Tips, and I do think this is great. I've seen some illustrations on "how not to do it"... but if you lack the "how to do it" part then it means little! I was hoping to get the more experienced framers to put a gallery together to ...

Forum Gallery?

I was wondering if it is possible to have a forum Gallery, were by complex frames, mounts/designs and art work can be shown and maybe an explanation of how it was achieved. As a newbie to the framing world I seem to be down the middle with a typical frame and mount. I'm hoping this may aid the newer...

Hi Mick,
Thanks for the advice. I'll look at using the Kraft tape. I now know why the supplier pointed me to the masking tape when I asked for hinging tape also! They probably don't realise the purpose behind it.

Thanks

Backing tape problem.

Guy's looking for advice, The backing tape that I use seems to bubble up after a few days. Could I be applying it to tightly or could the supplier be suppling cheap tape? Once I apply it to the backing board I use a roller to apply presure all over the tape. Should I use a preffered brand? Thanks Dr...

Hi Steven,
I did notice that you put yourself forward and good on you. I was just trying to understand what the outcome was and who took the hit for the money.

Thanks again

Steven, now that you have been named and shamed.... did you charge the customer for this error?

Was the customer happy or was it a pleasent smile and a thanks when he collected it the first time?

Thanks

Hi Brian,
Just to let you know, the Gorilla Glue is real good. Although you need to practise with it and ensure your clamps are tight. The glue expands a fair bit!

Dermot,
I thank you for your kind offer, but for a 1 year old Morso, travel and pick-up, it may cost more than a new one! Well, unless your offering it for a good price.

Done the thought process of money, investment, time, ability to take on more customers.

Thanks
