Hi all,
Thanks firstly for the advice, I had a play with the newberry method as described in previous posts and it worked with great success, luckily I had around 30mm extra silk all around the edge so had plenty to clamp in the aperture.

Sorry the catalogues I've searched are Lion, Simons and Mainline, If it can't be matched can anyone suggest a close match, even if I suggest re-framing the original to match the new or will that de-value the original because I now its worth around £300.

Thanks both two totally different styles both very impressive, I'd like to see those edges on picturemakers boards to see if they are good as they look. I wont be attempting that one just yet!!

Thanks again you obviously buy that from a kitchen supplier eg. magnet and southerns. (do you have these people in Ireland ???)

Can I make a suggestion put your underpinner on e-bay, I tried to sell my 4 year old CS79 on the forum about a month ago for £300 it did not sell so I put it on e-bay and got £320.00 for it withinn 6 days. So try it first and if all else fails take my advice
