What exactly are you looking for. Is it prints of Monets, Van Goughs and modern prints. If so I have about 50 assorted that I am selling as my business is closing down.

Re: What black filler?

Melted wax crayon works well. And polishes to a nice shine. But it gets all over the place. Keep well away from mountboard and artwork and clean up afterwards. The cream waxes above seem like a better idea I once used black mastic...worked well but what a mess :giggle:

Re: jet mounter 34

Thanks Steve. I dont have a jetmounter 34 but was considering it if volume increases. I know there are solutions to the exact size rolls being available but its a little more work cutting to size before laminating.

Ive used a De Walt DW703 with good results. Never as fine a finish as a morso but you can always use the morso to shave the last sliver off to give a good finish.

Thanks. That makes sense. I had been working from the side and found it quite awkward. Interesting point on the height of the top clamp. I had mine set too high.

Re: freezing feet

Ive been wearing hill walking boots for the past few weeks. I do however change the socks now and then. They are very light and with thick soles with bigh grips they keep me well off the floor. Very cosey indeed. The last hing you want is flat thin soled shoes. Also its a good idea to wear a warm hat....

Alfa minigraf3

Ive recently purchased a bench mounted Alfa3 pneumatic underpinner second hand for £190. It appears to be working fine. I find some things a bit fiddly to manage. Im wondering if anyone here has a similar machine and are there any secrets to getting the best use from it. It came with a box of wedges...

Re: Fillets... what do you use to cut?

My butcher uses a cleaver to cut fillets. Fillet steaks that is. And with the precision of a morso. No scraggly bits either, All joints are excellent and no need for filler or sanding. A rub of garlic prevents them from shrinking or drying out. Bot so sure what he would do if I asked him for a "...
