If you like salvadori mouldings contact nielsenbainbridge they do lots of salvadori products.theres that many suppliers they will fall over each other to get customers and offer silly prices on products.

nielsen do a very good chop service if its any help.

thinking of it tho getting a next day delivery from a company based in the same city does it deserve a big thank you its not a massive distance between the 2 of you.

Very sad to hear as people lose they're jobs makes u wonder if there's other smaller long established company's ready to do the same.i think there's still a big need for local wholesalers in the trade we are in there's always that quick job needing done big job to send vans all over the country.

looks a very nice picture although one thing i would comment on is i think your joining on the top right hand corner could be better from the look of the picture it looks like its opening again.

i wouldnt panic over 1 bad month thats if it turns out bad.i would say that what ive went through may and june were decent july quiet picked up slighty in august typical summer months. its at the back end of the year us framers should be making our money on the lead up to christmas getting in plenty...

if its a one off job i would measure how much it would take ie if 1 length is enough 1 length is what i would buy if it did go into 2 lengths and i some left i would then put a small print in the moulding .perhaps im lucky that my picking and choosing of moulding means i dont have loads of junk lyin...

ive had suppliers on the phone asking me to try chop services and i cant understand why anyone would want to use the chop service in the first place.i believe that doing picture framing unless its a massive moulding that cannot be cut on the morso why would i want someone to cut for me and charge me...

holroyds is who i use they give u good prices on quantity and you can get backing board mountboard and mouldings from them a one stop framing shop that can deliver you cant ask for more than that.

i use a pricing cd my supplier fw holroyd in glasgow gave me and it works well as your from bonnyrigg i would recommend using them as a supplier if you dont already they will guide you on how to price jobs and they are a right helpful bunch of lads always got time to help you out when you need it.
