Hi,
I have a customer who is interested in having a piece floating between 2 sheets of glass. Any suggestions how I can invisibly fix the artwork?
Thanks,
Sharon

Re: cleaning an old dark wood frame
Thanks every one for all the advice. I am doing just as Justin said, new mount, new glass in a beautiful old frame will transform the old picture.

round window
I have a customer wanting a round window cut. I wonder if there is a framer in the Kingston upon Thames area that has a computer mountboard cutter that can do this easily.

Thanks for that advice, using the slip sounds like the best option. Handling the glass though sounds scary to me.

Any suggestions on how I can get the very smooth finish so that I can't see any grain in the wood? I was planning on using black acrylic paint finished with a gloss medium. On its own tho...

Thank you all for taking time to reply. Simons website is being revamped so can't look there but Lion's Lazio looks like a strong contender but it is out of stock grr.

Hi Mark, Thank you so much. If I am going to frame these posters I want to do it properly, if I am not confident I can do that I won't do it. The customer has taken the posters back while I source moulding and find out the best way of doing the framing. She is keen for me to do it. The posters are a...
