It all depend's on the size of offcut, some of the larger bit's are used by local art student's or myself for iether painting on or slumpwork

I have a range of varied depth pairs of pieces of wood mitered at both end's & stick them onto the rebate rest with double sided tape, you still get the adjustability & the tape cleans off easily with lighter fuel or zest it, cheap & easy
