Re: Best glue

I tried Tirebond a while back but gave up as the applicator tended to block easily, I'd be interested to know tips to prevent this happening.

Re: Pricing multi-window mounts on a CMC with software.

It depends whether the windows are all of the same size if so very easy to layout (on Gunnar anyway). If all different sizes takes a lot more time to set up and align.

Canvas keeps relaxing

I am stretching a 450 x 650mm canvas, all fine and reasonably taught over Centrado HS1 stretchers. Next day to my surprise canvas it is wobbly as if it has been only loosely stretched. Tried lightly spraying the back and it returned to tautness only to find it slack again the following day. Temperat...

Re: World Record attempt

We have very good service from Tuffnels: always the same driver, very polite, always delivers the same time in the morning very little damage. Sometimes LJ packaging is torn a little but to be fair it is not that strong.

This saw has been around for a couple of years now and I was wondering what people think of it, a good upgrade from a Morso?

Re: Filtering tainted air from compressor through underpinner

You can buy compressed air filters or filter-regulators that sit in the air line as it exits the compressor but some machinery relies on the small volume of oil in the air for lubrication. You might also look to get the Hydrovane serviced possibly a seal is breaking down. Hydrovanes being rotary van...

Re: Tax on business startup

Last year I purchased the Gunnar that I had been hiring and that was treated as a capital expense.

When looking for an accountant choose one that specialises in small businesses.

Re: Sharpened Blades different Heights?

Morso blade pairs that I have are stamped with a corresponding number, if they are different then it looks like sets have got mixed up somewhere.

Re: Morso nightmare

Are the blades a matched pair? Difficult to tell from the photos but they look like they are stamped with different numbers. The other slight tweak I have found is to do with the positioning of the blade bolts in the drillings within the blades. The drillings are slightly larger than the bolts and i...
