Waxes
Firstly, thanks for all your advice on the best products for getting a really black finish (Windsor & Newton primer and Plaka gesso), which I used this weekend and made a frame that looks fantastic. Unfortunately I then waxed it with Liberon clear wax and I'm not terribly happy with the finish. ...

Roboframer, you are flumbing funny. I am currently outside Curry's, naked but for my Blackberry. I think I may have misread your post![Embarassed ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)

Annoying dust particles
Good morning framers!
Could anyone recommend a way of cleaning the inside glass prior to sealing the frame? No matter how many times I wipe it clean I always end up with specs of dust on the inside.
Very frustrating
Any help much appreciated as always.
Have a good day.

Re: Mind the gap(s)
Not sure what you mean by scooped, sorry, the mouling is thin (somewhere between a 1/4 and a 1/2 inch) across the top (and the same deep) and is flat on top but for a slight dip at the glass edge.
Hope that helps.
I use a Morso.

Mind the gap(s)
Good evening. I have been framing today and have a couple of questions: 1) My join at the front of the frame is perfect (well, quite good for me anyay  ), but there are small gaps in the join at the back of the frame. Am I doing something wrong or is the moulding a bit rubbbish? 2) What would ...

Staining bare wood
Evening all. I wondered if you could advise me of the best products for achieving a bright white and a black. I have used Liberon products recently but they are not nearly 'solid' enough in terms of the wood covering I'm wanting to achieve. Should I be looking to acrylic paints? Thanks in advance. P...
