Will be in touch for prices when pieces are on bars and I have exact sizes.

Uk Suppliers please....
Hello All Looking for suggestions of suppliers of large, traditional type frames, similar to the mock ups my customer created, shown in the attached photo's. I have 8-10 large, non standard size paintings to stretch and frame. This is the first time in years I have been asked for such large moulding...

Re: Glazing choices...
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I have ordered 3mm Acryguard UV from Centrado, which is what I originally recommended to my customer.
Better safe than sorry....
The smaller scarves I will glaze using Artglass UV99.

Hi All, What would be your choice of glazing (ideally available from Centrado UK) for a window mounted silk scarf 1040 x1020? It will be hung in a Holiday Cottage. Would like to know if 2mm glass would be ok in these circumstances? Was thinking Artglass UV99. Not overly keen on using Acrylic because...

JKX Nielsen 😞 I'm a Sole Trader in rural Scotland. Delivery is costly, so cannot order "little and often", yet I have limited storage space. Delivery takes a minimum of 2 days, with moulding damage not uncommon. Recently had 5 breaks (all finger joints) in a replacement stick - the origina...

Re: Deposit dilemma....
Thank you JFreig, that was most helpful. JKX.... This wouldn't work for me in this instance as I have 7 "oversize" fabric pieces, so need to order a pack of 10 Jumbo foam core boards. Similarly, Jumbo mount board and back board. Acrylic glazing I can order as and when I need them. That's a...

Re: Deposit dilemma....
Evening all, I very much appreciate those taking the time and effort to help me navigate my way through this. Apologies if I missed some information initially, but I was trying to be succinct, and it still ended up an essay! To be a little clearer... the work I have in, and the pieces still to come,...

Re: Deposit dilemma....
Thanks for your suggestions.... interesting to see differing ideas! NTG999.... I will already have spent, probably 2k of the deposit on materials, so not much left from which to deduct work as and when it's done. I cannot afford to wait until I've invoiced 2.5k worth of work as that could take a whi...

Deposit dilemma....
Hi Guys, This is a first for me in 26 years in Business and can't get my head round it. :-? Firstly, I almost never take a deposit, prefer to be paid on completion.... this has rarely been an issue in all these years, but if I did, I would invoice job, minus deposit paid, and there's the balance due...

Re: Aluminium frame suppliers
Tudor Rose Thank you. R&H look promising, esp as I order chop for Alu. Will give them a call in the morning. Good to know about Wessex re mount board. I do have an account with them, but not ordered in years. Steve N No worries... I hadn't looked at Alu from Lion recently either. Totally surpris...

Aluminium frame suppliers
Hi all I have always ordered my Alu frames from Nielsen. Just placed an order only to discover the attached profile (246) is disco'd in this colour (Myrtle) Any suggestions for either an alternative supplier for this, or failing that, an alternative Alu moulding in this green or very similar. Thank ...

Re: Pricing Increases
Hi John Yes, I'm happy with my "accident" :D I seem to remember a few years back you increased your prices by 20% thinking you'd probably see a reduction in workload, but it didn't happen! I also remember you saying that if you don't have around 20% of folk thinking you're too expensive, t...

Re: Pricing Increases
Thank you for your reply John. I must've already "saved" it, and tried your suggestion, but it didn't work. I've decided to leave the 20% increase as I'm working my way through my longest backlog ever, and with price increases across the board, I realise I'm working for less than I'd like,...

Re: Pricing Increases
Is there a way to undo an adjustment to prices?
I was playing around in the Options page and increased "All" prices by 20%, and now can't find a way to undo!!
