Re: Cassese saw eBay scam

That is heartbreaking. I checked John's links on Ebay. One of the images from stonescience match your image no.4 of 6 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cassese-CS-939-Multi-Angle-Semi-Automatic-Twin-Blade-Double-Mitre-Saw-Framing-/221763411369?hash=item33a2211da9&nma=true&si=d6%252BM4A1qSnIuB1Gqcju5j...

I got a Gunnar F1 over 2 years now. The choice I had then was Gunnar . Wizard, and the Valiani. It was an easy choice to make then. The Wizard had no base in Europe at that time. The Valiani software was rubbish, even they would admit that, it has since been updated, along with Wizards base in Europ...

It might help if you post this on The Picture Framers Grumble also John you might get other views there. http://www.thegrumble.com/ Alot of the people here would use Hotpress tissues laminates, and not be aware of other brands in other countries. When I first read your post, the bit that stuck out a...

One of the reasons that Gunnar blades might have been in short supply for a time might have something to do the changes they made to the profile of the blades, Gunnar blades 20011 and 20012 have been discontinued and the new Gunnar blades 001012 and 001013 have replaces the older blades. I use the g...

Silicone sealant will stick mirrors into a frame. Those who want to use this method should remember to use selant that is designed for mirrors.

Some silicone selants release acetic acid during curing and can corrode metals, including mirror silver.

I think its a design problem with the rebate support itself, it seems to work perfect on some profiles but on others it digs into the moulding like Steve said. The use of grease would not help with the problem only make it worse, as it would hold onto any dirt and clog the groove where the supports ...

Its ok buying a second hand cassese underpiner and saving some money. But having to get it shiped to the Lebanon is going to eat into any savings you make in buying second hand. Maybe it could end up cheaper in buyiing a new model in the Lebanon. Ask some of the moulding suppliers if they know or an...

I like Ormond can't really fault the Gunnar software. Its easy to use, even if you never turned on a computer before, and is updated around twice a year. Pool mode is another bonus, even if you dont use it that often. Just a comment to Grahame, If you intend spending, that kind of money on a cmc, wh...
