Dermot, thanks for the reply. Do not have a Vacuum bag, but only doing small quantities for a couple of Frames a week. Have a Veener Hammer, and all seems to be still stuck down after a couple of weeks so will carry on with the hot glue. Have not laid any Birds Eye Maple, yet a little bit to learn o...

Re: Morso not cutting all the way.
Thanks guys for all the help. Working like the trooper it is. Tighten up the 2 bolts/nuts, and off she went Yep will go ahead and make the perspex guard. Wasn't looking to buy a morso again what with 1 new hip and another ordered, but the local auction house had this so here we are. Yes she is older...

Justin Prospero thank you for the replies. Trying to lift up photos with reply.
The spindle/bar is attached to pedal which pushes all the way down to floor. It waves about when about half way depressed but still goes all the way to floor. Blades are level at top.

Morso not cutting all the way.
Can anyone shed some light on my problem. I am just setting a new to me very old Red Morso Guillotine. Machine has very sharp blades and at least one stamped Morso. ( will look again later ) The problem seems to be not cutting all the way thru on Final cut. Leaving a 5mm piece on the the bottom back...

Re: Gilding with Gold Leaf. An Online Video Course
Hi Dermot, can I add my praise for the online video course you have made. Have found it of great use, and the bite size videos helps in not getting too overawed in the content. No doubt many questions will be asked in the near future. Again many thanks.

Hi Matt, like everyone else Love what you are doing. For the latest Dutch Ripple Frame, where do you source the moulding I tend to use R & Hollis but cannot see anything like.

Re: Wrapped Bevels & Artwork
Yes, thats the problem. Normally use the book hinge method but due to foamboard height cannot.

Wrapped Bevels & Artwork
Hi all, just wrapped some foam core bevels attached them all ok, then had a thought about about how do I attach the barrier board/artwork to the mount as I usually use a book hinge for the mount. Hope I have explained it ok

Re: Shorter Measuring rular for Morso
I too had similar problem, my solution was to take the left arm off the Morso, measuring arm stays the same length. Open the the door when moulding needs to be cut, moulding is supported on a red roller. I have double doors, but only a 12ft by 8ft shed, Plan chest, under-pinner, morso, ultimate gold...

Screen Printed Silk
Any ideas please I have a Cigarette Silk to Frame. It measures 10cm by 15cm. The value is £10. The problem is as it is so fragile & very little border to work with, I cannot see how it could be sewn on to anything else. Wondering about a sink mount but would the Silk fall with gravity over time....
