Inmes IM 30 mitre saw

As we are retiring we are now selling off our equipment and we are selling our Inmes IM30 single phase mitre saw. This has been a superb machine cutting excellent joints and as we used to make lots of ash frames it was brilliant (along with the Hoffman Router) in getting tight corner joints. It is i...

Re: Memorial plaque (dead man's penny) mounting problems

We sink mount ours too. Much easier and full visibility. We have done a few of these and they look stunning, especially if you have a picture of the recipient to give it context.

Re: Lion's new chevrons

Seeing the moulding properly I can see why there are issues with this joining. It would clearly be difficult with the profile to join further in toward the rebate with any meaningful depth of wedge and of course going further to the chunky bit of the moulding would open out the rear of the joint. Th...

Re: Trucut Alpha - Vacuum bed

Adding a little more substance to Johns post, we have spoken to JWP Industries and it is their intention to build on the brand. Currently they have a person available to answer queries (like Bob did) and they are able to lift and shift the machines should people want it moved professionally. Also the...

Re: oh what to do with left over moulding!

It all goes in the woodburner in winter. I stockpile until then and all offcuts that are usable get left till I have nearly run out of stuff to burn then that gets chopped up.

You cant believe the rate at which moulding piles up

Re: Fletcher MultiMaster point gun

Yes Mark, there are many uses including bending them through 90 degrees for fixing, but equally there are other methods of fixing, which I would say are safer, than using bent points. We probably used them for the more obvious fixings, but as you can see in the approximately 7 years we have had it w...
