hi all, love the net, love the fact there is a forum for everything. so my girlfriend is a painter, she paints on large canvass with oils, and we want to frame some of the frames to add to the quality of the work. So we found the wood, and had a go last week, which turned out to be pretty poor finis...

I'm just getting into framing, so really want to visit the shop/wholsaler for a look and feel of the frames. inet ordering is fine if you know exactly what you want. Lions looks good to me so far.

thanks, tried our local framer, and he didn't have what we needed, but is able to order it. seemed very expensive to be honest with you.

Where to get materials
very basic question, but does anyone know a place to buy wood for faming on a saturday/sunday? live in north london, and tried phoning rose and hollis but looks like they are only open on weekdays.
