If that's their advert I'd hate to try to understand the instructions or try to get support for any problems!

Re: Moulding - Mainline 72026
The full cat number is 007 2026
I've run out too, but sourced a very similar moulding from radius in Darlington.
I'll post the cat number tomorrow. But from memory it's 868-11.

Colour then size for me. Light to dark woods, then through the blacks and colours to gold and finishing with silvers.

Re: Tell me it gets easier!
I cover the bench with non slip router mats. They are rubber webs, any bits fall through, they are soft and stay in place and are easy to regularly shake out.

Re: Source for "Melinex"
Hi Ian, I need 5 strips say a foot long each, 1" wide.
Could I send you a stamped envelope and a couple of quid (or 10 2nd class stamps) for a 5 foot strip?
thanks
Vince

Where do you buy your Mylar/melinex?
I've never used it and need some strips to secure a heavy(ish) object, what thickness do you use?
Thanks
Vince

Our turnover is slightly above last year's, but our costs are also higher. Hoping for a good November/December.

Re: Fletcher board and glass cutter
You can get them in at a slight angle. You would probably only need a foot at each side if you were careful.

Re: Fletcher board and glass cutter
Mine is 72" wide and 72" tall (that's the machine, but you need an extra couple of feet to raise it off the floor obviously) so mine stands with the "glass slot" at 32" giving a height of 8 foot. You also need space to the left to load full sheets, and to the right to remove...

Re: Village Hall stall
I don't think jay68 was suggesting that you don't turn up, just that the cost of the stall could be negotiated into a %age of sales rather than an upfront amount.

Re: Valiani mountcutters
I use a mat pro 120. It is the bees knees. Really good for double mounts and repetitive mounts. Get the end trimmer option, it's really useful.
If you need any more specific information please let me know.I think I've got a PDF of the instructions if you want it.

Re: Float mounting in deep shadow box.
I did something like this for a customer by screwing 2" stainless screws to a backing of mount card covered mdf (leaving them 1.5" proud. I then "secured" the artwork with rare earth magnets (which were obviously on view). The client loved the result, a true floating artwork. The...
