yes I have found this out I use to print 95% of my images on lustre paper but when face mounting it give it a leather look not good when you are going for a high gloss deep finish I must admit I was shocked at the amount of texture i was getting (image went through the lamination machine 5 to 6 time...

The chain is slack and keep's coming off any advice. I've opened it up to put the chain back on but can not see any adjustment for the chain

they flame polish the acrylic
so I would think they first cut with saw sand the edge and then flame it.??
dibond is really new to me just trying to add a extra dimension to my photography studio and lamination

I believe the signage company I use cut all their material on saws
I have always used them for acrylic and seen saw marks on edges and had to return for re-polishing

I would just like to thank you all for the help and advice on this subject I would also like to ask how would you float a image laminated on to Acrylic with out using stand off legs/posts I am also going to try dibond as a floating panel with print edge to edge print any advice greatly received James

when you say hard card do you mean hard board like in the back of a kitchen cabinet

I have a image I want to mount on to acrylic but haven't a carrier board bigger than A1?
What would you use?
MDF, Hard board, Acrylic
the image size is 329x900mm so I would need a carrier board of around 500x1100mm ??

to set the rollers I would offer the board/subtract to one end at a time and check the Resistance

I to have bought a 26" Jetmounter from steve and will be watching this thread with a keen eye Not unpacked it yet and played but I will be soon with small prints of around 8"x8" until I get the hang of it as I have some prints of 329x900mm to laminate so I will be keen to see how it g...
