Re: running a framing business from rented property...

Before plunging into mount cutting and framing with zero experience, (fortunate enough to have a rented workshop), I spent ten years as a consultant to letting companies, specialising in Letting law. 90% of tenancies are 'Assured Shorthold Tenancies', and as a standard clause, say that you may not c...

Re: Charnwood Framers Corner Underpinner

As an aside to the above, I took the beast home and sat it on my coffee table. Then I did what I do with my Disco kit (I'm also a DJ). I took it to pieces, cleaned everything and generally made it tidy, and in the process, understood better how it worked. If my underpinner stops working, I have time...

Re: Charnwood Framers Corner Underpinner

Not certain if this will help, but.. My Charnwood underpinner is a red one (does this mean it goes faster??), and it was bought second hand. This is possibly a little forward for a newbie, but I would like to visit the forum, but don't drive. My partner is busy on the date, so I need to get there. Is there anyone going to the forum that could stop by Woking in Surrey and give me a lift, in exchange for a contribution for petrol etc. Mark...

Re: WHO DARES WINS (David)

I'm a newbie here, but saw it posted on the forum, so when I was at the show today, I checked it out. It's absolutely stunning. One day, after a lot of practice and reading of manuals, I may be able to get close. I have a Wizard 8000 CMC, but thus far have been producing standard film cell and music...

Re: CMC Owners in the Wokingham and expanded area

I'm new to the forum (registered yesterday), and have a small business in Woking (25 mins from you) and use a Wizard 8000. It isn't being used as much as I'd like, although business is picking up, thus I do have some spare capacity. We bought the equipment from the guy who used to supply our mounts ...
