Garage Layout

There have been a number of posts indicating that a some of you started or are operating from a converted garage. Maybe an Overhead Flash Unit enclosed in a soft box might do the trick. If you have a local potographic club they also may be able to help and I would think have the necessary hardware available to borrow to test out. It is the standard eqipment used in studio photography.

Best of luck

I do a lot of exhibitions in Schools and can only use acrylic. I have to carry 5m public liability insurance even with this. Glass is banned in all primary schools in my area. Parents welcome the use as they are always concerned when they are viewing the exhibition with their children.

Cross Stich recommendations

I found this on a Cross stitch web site not specifically my views but an indicator on what a Customer may expect from a framer . ------ Not all needlework needs to be framed like a picture. Needlework can be found on pillows, linens, clothing, box lids, jewellery, light switch plates, and so on. Whi...

Great Thread

I like the idea of this thread as a newbie to the framing arena this could be a great source of education. By showing what has been done incorrectly and then explaining the way it should be done can only be extremely useful.
Thanks to all

Many thanks for that, been on the site and placed a request. They have a very interesting history page . If you know the serial number of your Morso you can find the age of it. It seems my little one was built in 1955. It really doesn't look its age and cuts really well wel for a small unit. Be inte...

MDF\LDF Mitre Joining

I have had a problem in joining the mitres of what appears to be LDF \ MDF mouldings. What is the best glue solution to use before underpinning. Under pinning alone doesnt work as using PVA then underpinning.

Cheers

Possible to use the dayglo notice poster boards available from larger office supplies companies or from Baker Ross schools suppliers.
