Personnally I used to have my thumb on the back edge of the tool head which gave me a little more precision, but as most things its personal preference!

Hi, personnaly I see them as a waste of money, I joined a couple of lengths of square moulding together and added a mount board top to them and use them, also more manoverable for big mounts. Used to just use a couple of stacks of catalogues!

I have my old dry mounter for sale on ebay, it fuses my workshop as it gets hot and I just want it gone! Unfortunately you were too slow answering and I picked one up since messaging you. Sure you'll have no trouble selling it for that price though. Put it on ebay, some of the morso's on there are shocking and for more money
