Centrado Freebies

Well done to Centrado with the delivery of a unexpected bulging envelope of chocolate, fancy notepad, pen, other sweets, flavoured tea bags and hot chocolate mix plus a few sample mouldings and a fancy glass cloth. Nice to be appreciated once in a while by suppliers! Just need to work on them for so...

Re: Wizard 9000 CMC hire

We rented Wizards for a few years from Framers Corner but after the move from UK to Germany (Wizard) we decided to buy a Valiani and couldn't be happier. A briliant and super accurate machine.

Re: Morso blades - where to buy?

We have bought a few sets from Framer's Corner which are slightly cheaper than the Morso ones and just as good, never had an issue with them.

Re: Is anyone going to the Spring Fair at the NEC?

We were there yesterday, agree with the comments already made. The only framing supplier still going is DJ Simons, and to be honest because their stand is so small compared to what it used to be, it looked crowded, uninspiring and to be honest, plain boring. I think it looks worse because surroundin...

Re: Compressors and Compressed Air Tools

We have two running, one for the Wizard 9000 the other feeds our underpinner and point gun as well as an air nozzle and nail gun.
Wouldn't be without them now as so quick and convenient.

Re: Popularity of Polcore

There seems to be a lot of dissent and snobbery to using plastic "cheapskate framing" "proper wood framing" etc.etc. Not all customers can afford bespoke real wood frames so we happily fill the gap and to be honest the time taken on a piece of oak, ash or whatever we can probably...

Re: Popularity of Polcore

We get through mountains of it in all shapes and sizes. Our best seller in Polcore is the 20mm, 28mm and 40mm textured black which joins very well with no gaps especially after a tiny squirt of their glue (superglue). The only downside is consistency between lengths which can be a pita but all in al...

Re: Anyone recognise this moulding?

I'll wait and see if he pops into t...

Anyone recognise this moulding?

Just had a customer in the shop who has purchased a painting and would like another picture framed in the same moulding. Gallery where it was purchased haven't been much help - I suppose they are interested in the painting rather than the frame. The colour is a dark grey - I thought I had found it i...

For the libraries to show you will still need a constant connection to the internet but not vital as anything saved in the library could be saved to your hard drive and re-imported if need be.
