Re: Kleencut Ultimat Gold 48" for sale

Tony

I'm interested in the Keencut. I'm based in Northern Ireland, so easy to organise to collect it.

Re: MORSO WANTED

To get a Morso with a few months warranty for £400 is highly unlikely when you consider the new price and the fact they hold their value! In fact, so long as its been well treated, they go on forever. As an example, I bought a used one for £450 earlier this year in full working order. I then discove...

Re: Polcore

I'm new to all this, so defer to the great experience in the above comments. However, from my own experience, I use Polcore without glue to make large landscape prints and they have been great. The typical sizes are 40" x 20" and they look as good as any of the wood frames. The joints are ...

Re: High Gloss Laminate and Mounting of Photograph Problem.

Thanks Steve. I had thought about Citibloks before (found reference to them on this site) and have now spoken to them. I will be ordering some samples this week and mounting some images to see how they look. Can I assume my JM26 can handle the 18mm thickness?

Re: High Gloss Laminate and Mounting of Photograph Problem.

Thanks for all the replays. I think Steve is right about the acrylic panel as it is such a high gloss effect that is flawless that it really can't be anything else. I also agree that Loxley's will have proper edge banding equipment costing a lot more than I can afford! I suspect I may look for a goo...

High Gloss Laminate and Mounting of Photograph Problem.

I have searched the forum, but not found anything specific on my problem. I have some large panoramic photographs that I want to mount onto a board such as mdf (Loxley's do them and they are called Edge prints). Now, I like the Loxleys option because the mdf has a laminated edge that is on around 2 ...

Re: Bench Guillotine Wanted

You don't have a second one 'taking up space' by any chance? Or anyone else for that matter. Ideally in Ireland to save postage, but happy wherever if a good deal.

Underpinner Wanted

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a used underpinner for my low volume framing workshop. I don't mind if its foot pedal or pneumatic, but must work and be a reliable make. As I'm in Northern Ireland, something local would be ideal or at least one which you're prepared to ship at a reasonable cost. Many t...

Hello from Northern Ireland

I thought I would introduce myself to the other members having been lurking on the site for the last few weeks. I'm a photographer from Newtownards in Northern Ireland and my last two framers have retired, so I thought I would do my own framing going forward. I do weddings and portraits, but am abou...
