Beer cap mirror, frame

Here is a beer cap frame. I routed out three slots on the top for the caps to be dropped in. I was going to have a black felt backing but changed it to a mirror at the last min. I think it worked out well.

My first box frame

This is my first go at object framing, due to the depth of the shoes I doweled on some pine from build base. to attach the shoes I stapled Velcro to the soles and mount board and the added some hot glue to hold them in place. It all seems to be pretty sturdy. I would be interested to know if any one...

For sale Keencut ultimat gold 1000, 40"

Hi I have a keencut ultimate gold 1000, 40" for sale. I use it at the moment and its in very good working condition. The only reason for sale is that I'm getting the new 1500 model. I'd be happy with £300 and buyer pays postage. I live in Campbeltown Scotland so I reckon postage would be in the...

Thanks for the reply prospero, very helpful. Good thinking about the plastic becoming brittle, I never considered that.

Re: See through frame for stained glass

Its about 8mm off on one corner (it was her first attempt at stained glass) I reckon I'm going to have to cut into the rebate a few mm so that I can square it up, but that means she will loose a fare bit of the artwork in the rebate. I was wondering if any one had ever seen any clear plastic grips t...

See through frame for stained glass

Hey folks A customer has given me a small home made stained glass panel, about 30cm x 20cm. She wants to hang it in her window and for the frame to be see through. The piece is off-square so she wants the frame to square it up. She wants it in a matt silver moulding without any glazing. My idea was ...

Re: Wanted - Books

Hey Keith

That’s very kind of you, Thanks a lot.
That could be an interesting tread to start on the forum, “Where is the strangest place you’ve ever posted from?” I dread to think what people might put down for that LOL
