Re: Jumbo Mounts

Trouble is I only need 4- I have been quoted £38.00 each + vat but by the time I've put my mark up on its going to make the mount dearer than the frames!

Re: Computer drawn lines on mounts

I would consinder Zund to be the Rolls Royce of CMC, with a price tag to match! They were showing at Focus this year with a adaptation of their machine to slice up images printed on rolls produced on wideformat printers. They still produce machines to cut mounts and I know of several companies using...

Thanks Mark

The trouble with the Tables was I had selected show "stocked mouldings" only in options.

I will play about with reporting and see if I can find a solution :D

Help with EstLite please!

Last week I installed EstLite and loaded on the 500 plus mouldings we offer. This was really made much easier by the suppliers tables However when I went to add a moulding just now I find the names are missing in the "Select Table" box on the Stocked Mouldings page. I've tried to download ...

Re: Dial-a-saw

With due respect it looks like the mount you produce when you first get a cmc! Having had a cmc for a number of years I've found that the majority of the work we do is for rectangular / round / oval mounts without the fancy corners. I agree its great to have the ability to cut intricate designs but ...

Re: FATG live

I'm not a member - so why should I care. Well its simple - I think the Guild is an important part of our Industry, and were it run properly I would be part of it. . I couldn't agree more. Its very easy to sit back and criticise but I really feel with the size of budget and the time taken the new we...

Re: FATG live

If I had contributed financially towards this site (i.e still been a member) I would be asking some serious questions of the Guilds officers who oversaw this web site- just glad it wasn't my money.

I'd be interested to hear what paid up members think of their investment?

Re: FATG Website

I "put up" with being a member for 15 years before leaving over the demands for more money from members to build the new web site. During my time as a member the most tangible benefit to myself and my company was to take the GCF. This educated both myself and my staff to become better fram...

Re: 'Should I or shouldn'd I?'

In 2007 the Cheif Executive of the Guild earnt much* more than the average framer earns.

It surprises me that the highly paid executives of the Guild leave it to volunteer members to defend the Guilds actions on this forum.

I await this new web site with interest, is there a date that there going to go live? I have always thought I would rejoin if the site looks good enough but of course it would now seem if i'm not a member I won't be able to tell! In the mean time I've saved over £500 by not being a member for the la...

Re: 'Should I or shouldn'd I?'

The only slight problem with being a GCF (which I am) is if you leave the Guild (which I have over the web site debacle amongst other things) you can,t advertise your qualification to the public!

Strange but true!

Re: Wanted - Mounts cut to size - regular orders

Hi
For 100 mounts 10 x 8 we would charge 53p each + vat for a mount cut from 8011 Arquadia (black with white core) or 62p each + vat for Arquadia 7011 ( black with blck core}

Post and pack is £10.00

If this is of any interest please pm me.
