Trouble is I only need 4- I have been quoted £38.00 each + vat but by the time I've put my mark up on its going to make the mount dearer than the frames!

I would consinder Zund to be the Rolls Royce of CMC, with a price tag to match! They were showing at Focus this year with a adaptation of their machine to slice up images printed on rolls produced on wideformat printers. They still produce machines to cut mounts and I know of several companies using...

Last week I installed EstLite and loaded on the 500 plus mouldings we offer. This was really made much easier by the suppliers tables However when I went to add a moulding just now I find the names are missing in the "Select Table" box on the Stocked Mouldings page. I've tried to download ...

With due respect it looks like the mount you produce when you first get a cmc! Having had a cmc for a number of years I've found that the majority of the work we do is for rectangular / round / oval mounts without the fancy corners. I agree its great to have the ability to cut intricate designs but ...

I'm not a member - so why should I care. Well its simple - I think the Guild is an important part of our Industry, and were it run properly I would be part of it. . I couldn't agree more. Its very easy to sit back and criticise but I really feel with the size of budget and the time taken the new we...

If I had contributed financially towards this site (i.e still been a member) I would be asking some serious questions of the Guilds officers who oversaw this web site- just glad it wasn't my money.
I'd be interested to hear what paid up members think of their investment?

I "put up" with being a member for 15 years before leaving over the demands for more money from members to build the new web site. During my time as a member the most tangible benefit to myself and my company was to take the GCF. This educated both myself and my staff to become better fram...

In 2007 the Cheif Executive of the Guild earnt much* more than the average framer earns.
It surprises me that the highly paid executives of the Guild leave it to volunteer members to defend the Guilds actions on this forum.

I have always thought I would rejoin if the site looks good enough but of course it would now seem if i'm not a member I won't be able to tell! The only slight problem with being a GCF (which I am) is if you leave the Guild (which I have over the web site debacle amongst other things) you can,t advertise your qualification to the public!
Strange but true!
