Thank you David....that idea put me on to ringing wessex and they do artglass 99% uv up to 80" so problem sorted...just got to quote the customer...ouch!

I unfortunatly did have to make a claim back in 2009 when my shop was flooded. I had a little prior warning so managed to lift all customers work to a safe level plus all my mount board and stock that was stored at low level. I would urge everyone to make sure they are insured enough as it is shocki...

I hope you are all wearing masks whilst cutting the MDF!! I use corri-cor mark 3 now.....life is a lot easier I cut it on the mount cutter with no scratty edges (unless your blade is blunt) and scraps can be recycled in the cardboard bin.

Unusual objects
Just wondering what are the most unusual objects that you have all been asked to frame. I recently framed a dead horses tail and horseshoe with a montage of photos of said dead horse. Previous to that a 17th century nit comb (with nits in it) and a hand painted wedding dress that just looked macarbe!!

Thanks for the advise....most of my customers are so tight they only ever breath in but happily this one knows their stuff when it comes to art. Just want to make sure im charging a fair price and double cts sounds right.

Hello
Does anyone have any ideas on what mark up I should put on museum glass? I have bought a sheet rather than cut to size as I have a couple of jobs to do in it but no idea what to charge (it cost me £184.80)!!!
