Moulding ID please

Hi
Anyone recognise this please? It's on an Alexandar Millar, not sure if it's one frame or a combination.
Many thanks

Re: Arqadia L/J web ordering.... anyone out there got a clue

I've placed 6 orders over both shops since Christmas and haven't been invoiced for any of it. If you go into your online account, the invoices don't make sense at all. I used to know deliveries were coming when l got an invoice via email which was handy as l have to meet the delivery driver at aroun...

Re: Arqadia L/J web ordering.... anyone out there got a clue

I have 2 separate accounts with them, it took me a week to even get online. I can now place orders but without fail every single one at both shops has either had picking errors or items missing. It must be costing them a fortune, I keep getting single packs of mountboard delivered and the moulding f...

Moulding ID please

Hi, Trying to match this moulding, I've never seen it before, tried all the usual suspects. It's 25mm wide and like a double scoop, the inner bit is actually silver, outer edge dark charcoal.

Re: Built up frames

Thanks everyone. I think that the inner needs to be a canvas box, but can use your idea Richard and fix the canvas box inner to the flat inner section.

Built up frames

Hi Does anyone on here make this style of frame? Just wondering if there is a moulding or two that can be fixed together or if it's just 3 flat pieces of wood? I've thought of using a couple of canvas box profiles, but the flat bit in the middle wouldn't be wide enough. I'm also aware that Arqadia h...

Re: Large Aperture Mounts

I once did a job like this with two mounts joined together, I bevel cut the join so it was barely visible on the end product. Customer was happy.

Re: Name that moulding..

I've seen a moulding similar to the inner bit, think it may have been Lopez. You could contact Justin at Innov8 and send him the picture.

Larson Juhl stock

Hi, please does anyone have any of this in stock that I could buy? Only need enough to make a frame roughly 24 x 20 inches. Larson Juhl 850790 or the Lopez copy.

I'm looking for a bare wood, probably obeche in approx 34 - 37 mm square section. Does anyone have a Rose and Hollis code (and price please) or even their telephone number?

Many thanks

Re: Moulding ID Please

It's roughly 5 - 6 cm square section canvas box profile, just needs to be a washed white.

Moulding ID Please

Hi
Please can anyone ID this large canvas box moulding. I'm fairly sure Lopez do it but wondered if any UK suppliers have something similar. Arqadia's coastal woods are similar but this seems a bit more 'distressed'. Much like me!

Re: Other suppliers

Hi, thanks. I have done the same, just such a lot to paint and limited timescale! In your opinion graysalchemy, is it easier to paint the white one cream or paint the unfinished version? I will have to match as near as possible as I can get half the job done with the right one.

Hi All, Need more of this Arqadia moulding and they can only fulfil half my order. Does anyone know of any other suppliers please? It's the ivory version and 84mm wide.

Does this moulding exist?

I'm looking for a dead flat moulding 60 - 70mm wide, in off white/ivory painted finish, slightly wood grain rather than satin. Arqadia 318000137 would be fine but has a ridge along the back. Any ideas? I have been hand finishing but have so many to do that an off the shelf one would be better.

Re: Moulding search

The silvery one is definitely Arqadia, the other used to be produced by Arqadia and Mainline but think it's discontinued now.

Re: Sending mirrors

I have also used apc in the past to transport mirrors. They are very reasonable, (about £10 plus vat for an overmantle.) They do next day delivery as standard but glass is uninsurable. I used to send out up to 5 mirrors a week for several years and only had about 3 with damage. I just stood the loss.

Hydraulic Morso

Does anyone on here us a hydraulic morso? I've ended up with one but find that it struggles to cut mouldings that I managed previously to cut with a foot operated one. On wide mouldings, say 95 mm that are high at the front it just can't get through the first cut. Should it be able to or is this bey...
