Hanging a small rug

Any advice? A customer has just brought me a small (40 x 60 cm) rug depicting the Armenian alphabet. She would like a baton top and bottom hung by a chain. The carpet is rather thick and I am wondering how to attach it to the baton - sewing through the rug and around the baton seems the most obvious ...

Last year I upgraded from the CS79 to the CS88 after much research. I guess it probably depends on the amount of work and the space you have available. I looked at other makes but I like the ease with which you can change the cartridges and the easy adjustments of the fences - I do though echo the ...

Packaging of pictures to go with a carrier

For the first time I am doing an order which I need to send by carrier, and I was wondering how most of you pack pictures for this? I have seen that Lion do special boxes but at quite a price. I have five to send with the largest being about 60x50cm.

I see there is a lot of talk about carriers so I ...

 Prospero, thank you so much that is exactly the one I am searching for according to the customers description!!

Frame Code - guess the supplier!

Just wondering if anyone can help -

Had a customer in wanting a particular frame, he has given me a code and asked me to find it (I did try and persuade him to use something similar that I stock!).

B1040(27)

Does anyone know who the supplier of this may be?!

Thanks in advance for any answers.

Just tried a square batten, and I can still not getting a totally clean cut. It looks like it is tearing the wood very slightly at the end of the cut and is therefore pulling a tiny bit of wood off each corner. The rest off the cut is still totally clean, blades new on today.

Must be something ...

John, thank you I will now go and try that! I've had my Morso for a couple of years and everything has gone so smoothly in terms of the quality of the mitre that this is probably doing me good learning more about the ins and outs of it in relation to a wider range of mouldings.

Morso Problem

Firstly hello - only just found you, and so many useful things on here!

Secondly, I am currently having a problem with my Morso F - any advice would be welcome. My mitre cuts (on both sides) have constantly got a little nick of wood missing right from the bottom of it, therefore when I underpin it ...
