Request for a Little Help
Hi all, First post in forever. I hope you are all keeping well. I wonder if one of the Irish forum members could help me. I need to contact Myles Kehoe, (Arqadia - used to be my rep). I would be grateful if someone could send me a PM with his mobile number. Moggie is still breathing, but the road is...

Re: Black marker for joining Matt Black moulding
HI Bagpuss, I gave up on using black markers because of the tinted mitre problems. Eventually I found that Liberon's Dark Walnut pen worked better. Also, I kept a piece of crepe bandage handy to wipe off the excess immediately after application of the ink on each mitre face: even a few seconds' dela...

Hey Alan! Good to hear from you. Apologies for delay, but life is very much going in fits and starts and my posting reflects this. How are you keeping? I've missed hearing from you, too.
And Rolf, I believe you.

I am so deeply sorry to find out that Mike is no longer with us. I'll post more later. Right now I need the Kleenex.

Re: Kiasu stands
Wot Robo said, but I like the look of the taped finish on the back. As you proposed in your opening post, Trinity, I used to trim neatly round the fixing. Looked fine. Tesla tape is great, because you can ease it in around the fixing, giving a neater finish.

Re: Glass cutters
Speed .... For double mounts both boards can be cut at the same time - even triples and/or if you use foam board or artback/corricor as a frame backing, you can cut mount, under-mount and backing together in one hit. Kept that one quiet for a long time, dinchya! Could have used a shneaky little tip...

Re: Return of The Mog
Thank you all for the warm welcome back: it's so very much appreciated. Mark, I was very pleased to read that you're in a good place with the business: behind the scenes I've been worrying how you were all faring, given the state of economic turmoil that seems to be continuing unabated (particularly...

Return of The Mog
Hi all, How are you all keeping? I have missed being here so much. My soap opera of a life is continuing unabated, but the isolation as a result of my illness is dreadful. Suffice to say that a recent horror of an experience with my prescription meds has pushed me to the point where I need to fight ...

Thanks Alan, Rolf & Sam. Will take the hugs any way I can get 'em, and I'm very grateful. Not ready for the happy memories yet - too raw. But I'm glad that this time I'm able to cope with seeing my little darling's image every day (still can't do that for Ammie and Tara...). It makes me feel clo...

Belated congrats to yourself and Missus R on your anniversary, John.
Wishing you both a really good year ahead (especially when you get to play with your stonking new kitchen!).
Happy anniversary to Ricky and Mrs. Ricky, too.
