Re: What it says on the tin is misleading ?

The Guild licence means that you are assured that any board displaying the licence stamp meets or exceeds industry agreed standards for that particular category of board.
how comes Nielsons alphamat artcare does not have this "stamp"?

Re: Daler mount board alert

My understanding is that people did deal directly with Daler and that Daler had different types of deals with different businesses etc, I believe this will all stop and that prices will increase for everyone unless your buying by the pallet load. On a side note no rationale as to why colourmount che...

Re: Help needed to frame wedding shoes

Check with customer if she is likely to ever want to wear them again and ask if she is happy to have them glued, there really is no point in doing conservation just for the point of it in some situations. If she does want them done in a conservation method then use either a cotton thread or even fis...

Re: Daler mount board alert

Now they have increased price by 20% which is basically increased price from £4 to £5, there are now cheaper options or others at the same price. I was initally attracted by the price.

Re: Daler mount board alert

Is there a rationale as to why Colourmount do not have bevelled edges on their sample chevrons, or is it just my set?

Daler mount board alert

So currently I mainly use Daler mount boards I order from Lion. I see from their website the price has increased by %20. Last week I notice a few mounts boards are out of stock, phone Lion not sure when they will be back in. Today I have tried to order mount boards for about 15 jobs, most are not av...

stretcher bar for canvas

Hello been a while since I have done a canvas, I do not usually get that many. Anyway my question is this: I have a canvas with an image size of 999mm, I will show a white edge on the sides rather than wrap the immage around. The profile I am using is 38mm high and 35mm wide. When cutting the mouldi...

Re: Bainbridge whitecore

Can post photos tomorrow, got lots of boards 4071, basically it seems to be an issue with the way the top and bottom layers and put together with rest of layers. If you slightly flex the board the top on bottom layers buckle away. Never experienced this with other brands of boards.

Bainbridge whitecore

I have recently started to use Nielsen Brainbridge mountboard, and found on quite a few sheets that the reverse side (white side) is wavey/blistered almost. For those of you who having been using for a while is that standard for their mountboard of is this faulty?
