Re: Framing calculator

Hi Colin. Happy New Year to you. I too would like to try your spreadsheet. I use a Mac with Excel. I order everything from Wessex. I only do a few frames a week, mainly for my art students, so this sounds just right for me. What value donation are you thinking of? Many thanks Jan email: thewilsons2@...

Re: Matcutter

I started out with a Logan, which I wouldn't touch again with a barge pole. I upgraded to a Keencut Ultimat Gold and have never looked back. Excellent value and precision. Easy to use. Would choose the same again.

Re: Cassese CS79

Took it apart last night. Nothing to note except lubricated (not me personally). Can only think that lubrication worked it's way to the surface due to heat. My workshop has lots of big windows and the temp can be extreme sometimes. It will have to run out sometime so I  won't worry. Thanks for...

Re: Cassese CS79

Hi Mark. Nothing above it and only me using it. I certainly haven't spilled anything over it. The oil gets worse as I am using it. It is definitely clear oil - you can smell it.

Cassese CS79

Hi.. I have a 3 year old CS79 that recently has started to leak oil onto the top plate. Seems to be coming up through screw fixings. Today particularly bad, about a teaspoon full spreading all over the place. Purchased from Wessex, so will contact them tomorrow but wondered if anyone had an ideas wh...

Hi Mark. They look good. What do you use as a 'wash' please?

Re: Mountboard Cutter for amateur

Hi. I frame my own artwork too, as well as a lot of my students work. I had a Logan but found the results could be a bit hit and miss. A lot of wastage and frustration. I now have a Keencut which is brilliant. Worth spending the extra if you want good, consistent results.

Re: putting everything up for sale

Hi David. Do you still have the plan chest? If so, could you give me a price and also the outer dimensions. (Would have to collect in back of estate car).

Thanks
Jan
