We have a Valiani Mount Cutter with a Vacuum bed and it is great will cut Jumbo with cut shapes etc, but it about how much you use if for these things, there are different heads etc, cutting boxes, scoring card and all sorts you can do. TGS sometime have used models and are worth asking.

I would say that one of the more important parts is to ensure that customer has the artwork lifted off the wall so it does not seal and draw damp in.

Not sure if this helps but we used to cut a piece of mdf put a d ring or split ring in it and then glue it to the board. A bit rough but works.

Just so you know, you can use Inksccape and it is free, bit more trouble to upload but the line colours are all that is important, you save as .SVG.

This is not entirely unusual I would suggest to the customer to lift if off the wall if possible, even though this may not stop the problem it may help.

Maybe something to try if you have enough room is to pre fit backloander tabs in the frame and use the minimum amount of staples. We sometime have to do this.

We have customers who regularly send out packaged frames, if you customer chooses a good solid moulding and has regular sizes it would be best to have boxes made.
