Re: Can anyone identifying this Tab gun... ?

I've tried a reverse google image search on it with no success. We have been using plain flexi tabs (made for the charnwood tab gun) they work but not as good as they probably should. Something like these https://charnwood.net/product/flexible-tab-pack-of-2500/?srsltid=AfmBOoq0eT6dBuS-aRIh8JmO2xQ2 ...

Can anyone identifying this Tab gun... ?

It looked like it had a label on it at one stage but it has fallen off. The patent number points to Fletcher Terry but I cant find a red plastic of their point guns, both present and past.

Does anyone know what is it, and what tabs will it take?

Re: Be very careful with Facebook marketplace

I find a very large proportion of NI listed items are fraudulent because they require most UK people to catch a ferry, that persuades most people to pay for item and postage.

There are bargains but turn up and buy in person.

Re: Should Trueview AR sheets be square?

The other sheet in the box was not square, (I checked the diagonals), only 115.5cm long and had a scratch. I will send it back.

The next box I've just opened is full length and square. Perhaps just a couple of bad sheets in the previous one.

If it helps anyone else the supplier I am about to place an order with are Amari Plastics. They stock in thicknesses in 1.8mm to 15mm in sheet sizes of 5ft x10ft.... https://amariplastics.com/product/acryglas-xt/

Is 3mm thick acrylic OK for 3ft x 4ft box frame

I am using 6mm wide spacers that are about 12mm deep. I normally use 2mm glass but I need to do one in acrylic, would 3mm be thick enough ?

thanks in advance.

Re: Cutting moulding - Hold against bottom plate or fence?

The consensus is definitely "hold down". I think I have generally been holding against the vertical fence, I will make a change to my technique and see if I can eradicate the odd gap in a corner....

Thanks for all of your input.... It's very much appreciated.
