Wanted - ACP cut to size

Not sure if this is the right section. I have a project that requires an os map to be recreated as a 4x4 grid of individual panels. In addition to the map panels there will be 4 others on either side containing key, text and general info, each separated by approx 3mm. The map panels are 3mm acp, 230...

Quickpro Artwrap

I bought a pack of these the other day out of curiosity. Just a piece of cardboard but the result is very rigid, very good corners and quick to produce. Several sizes available but I hope larger ones will come along later. Price for 12" square is less than £5 inc canvas & ink , a backing bo...

Re: Dibond mounting, Hotpress or Jetmounter?

The issue I had was the foam blanket was leaving a pattern on the print and I never managed a satisfactory press with gloss laminate. The process is quicker and easier with a Jetmounter.

Re: Camera wanted for photographing paintings

I have had to do a few large pictures. Simplest way is to treat as a panorama, take multiple shots with overlap and stitch in CC. I use a D200 but have a very good Nikkon 105mm lens with very little edge distortion. Full frame is not really necessary but good glass is vital + tripod. If you have a l...

Re: Sublimation Printing Plaque Suppliers

I have been using dyesub for many items in the shop so happy with the process. Coincidently I have just ordered a plaque to add to my stock range, cannot see any real problems as this is like any other flat material. PM me with your requirement and we can see if I can help. Having re read your post ...

17" Printer, a different take on stretching canvas

For a long time I have been thinking about producing canvas prints for my shop. The major problem is that I have an Epson 4900 and limited to 17” paper. To do a full gallery wrap I would have to use 10” stretcher bars which are just too small. The attached pdf shows one method to increase the stretc...

The emails may be fake but Tesco do offer a service that allows you to reclaim used vouchers, I retrieved over £60 worth last year.

Re: Tacking iron

If you are using a hot press & vacuum the pritt adhesive may be visible after processing. I used to use this method when mounting pics onto compositem A soldering iron can be used or even the back of a spoon heated on the stove. Iron sound like the best bet.

For this reason, we plan to buy both the Hoffman machine and a separate router, router table and Hoffman router bit to enable us to implement butt joints as well as the normal mitre joints. According to the Hoffman website the X20 can already do this with a square stop. http://hoffmann-usa.com/inde...
