For some reason I cannot attach files that are only 390 x 520?
I get an error;
"It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct." and I don't know how to verify the URL?

Pair of Hansen Blades
Hansen blades never reground from new and still useable
Probably best to send out for a minor 'lick' for full sharpness.
Pictures show no major gouges.
£115 including P&P
I will send them DPD 24hrs insured and signed for

Re: Cannibalistic Morso
Thanks for that advice about the draw bar holders not being an engineered weak point. I obviously got confused by the adverts that go along with the sale of new draw bar holders; :Slap: "Connects the bottom of the main springs to the Morso pedal mechanism. Must be checked on a regular basis as ...

Re: Frame clamps
I have an old set of Ulmia's along with the 'spreader pliers'.
They don't get much usage, but as previously stated easy to use but they do leave marks on the moulding, that requires filling.
New sets seem well expensive, over £100!

Re: Cannibalistic Morso
I agree with you that the horizontal shaft rotating, is the cause of the wear on the case, but surely the easiest way to find out if there are other problems in the "pedal tipper frame" is to first stop the horizontal bar from rotating? This job will have to be done anyway if the Morso is ...

Re: Cannibalistic Morso
As an after thought Simon, make sure you inspect the "Draw bolt holders" that are connected to the springs. :D The effect of the horizontal bar moving around in the larger diameter hole when the machine is operated, puts a higher force on the whole system. Draw bolt holders are liab...

Re: Cannibalistic Morso
Hi Louise, as you know by now the morso is a great quality machine. The main weakness seems to be the problem you have got! :( :head: I too had the same problem and posted previously what I did to remedy it and will quote it here as it may be of use to your neighbour; "Just to give a heads up o...

Re: Wanted
Hi, I bought an underpinner from a guy in Rotherham last August. I also purchased some cut down lengths of moulding from him. He had quite a few full lengths of good quality moulding that I couldn't fit in my vehicle, at a guess around 100 Metres in full. It's possible he still has these as he kept ...

Re: How to teach new staff how to use Morso
Hi Morso, :) How about a strengthening piece fitted where the horizontal bar of the lever system connects to the sides of the machine that is at present, only connected to 1.5mm pressed steel? :( Thinking something like a 50mm long x 100mm wide steel plate (so it goes around the radius at the back o...

Re: Second hand point gun
Now I know how to change the spring, does anyone know where to purchase said spring(s)? :? The only place I have found online is http://www.ukframingsupplies.net and they are out of stock. :( Considering their price is £0.50 per spring +VAT, I don't suppose they will be in a rush to restock them, so...

Re: Lion South shut
I phoned Lion concerning there omission from the website of their blade sharpening services highlighted in red on any of their 'Morso Mitre Guillotine' section of the 'F' variety, and had rather a drawn out conversation with a lady. :( She 'guessed' that it had been omitted because there is no order...

Hi xframer,
I assume the prints available are the pictures in your post
Look really good
I am interested in some if that's the case.

Re: Second hand point gun
Well used Fletcher point guns go for about £30 each, two separate guns for flexis and rigids.
I know they have history behind them, (I have the two!) but if I was buying now I think the Framers Corner single gun would make better economic sense, as long as it stood the test of time.

Re: Lion South shut
Lion Birmingham now have no 'blade sharpening' access on their website.
Maybe they are cutting down their services in Birmingham too?
