FrameReady Issues!

I'm just having a horrible time with FrameReady support. I've been trying to renew my subscription with them and waited for a week for someone to speak with me. When they did, I got a billing person, who didn't know what the sales person had decided. In any case they charged me and then and they hav...

The best way to join a large frame?

I have a job to do a large 4' x 4' frame for a mirror. I wonder if anyone has any advice about how to go about ensuring the joins are strong?

Hand held mitre cutter

Does anybody use this Wizard Mitre Cutter to cut fillets? I'm just wondering if it works well and or any advice you may have about using one of these tools:

Re: Hello from Panama (Central America)

Yes. I did go to Framefest 2015. As the show was small, I got the opportunity to speak with many vendors in depth and learn about their offerings and products. I also made useful contacts other options for getting supplies. I took a number classes and learned a whole bunch of things new things. Met ...

Do you know who the artist is?

A client is looking to have this image re-framed with the name of the artist on a tag in the back. Thing is, the client does not know who the artist is, and the signature is illegible.

I'm hoping someone here might have seen the image and/or style before.

Thanks for the video. I'm now wondering if I need more teeth or less teeth with a negative hook blade for cutting polystyrene.

Re: Hello from Panama (Central America)

Keith, It's so great that you refer me to Artec. I believe they are the only place you can buy matboard in Panama. I have found a distributor for polystyrene moulding in Panama as well - Emmarcados Xpo Art, but I am having issues cutting the polystyrene, which I am hoping the experience in this foru...

Cutting polystyrene with Makita

I've been doing some internet research an came up with a couple of suggestions: - Cut fast with blade of 80 teeth or more. - Cut fast with blade of 35 teeth ...

Hello from Panama (Central America)

I'm new to framing and am in the process of opening a frameshop in Panama in the Pacific beach areas. There is no frameshop in my area at all. People have to travel well over an hour to get things framed or do it themselves. So I'm looking to fill a gap in my area. I'm a hobby photographer who was l...
