reps who know how to frame

I have two very succesful distributors in European countries who both only employ framers as salesmen. The salesmen work 3 days for the distrib. and 3 days in their frame shops. Their wives cover when they are out. The big advantage is that when they visit their customers they have empathy and under...

Nigel, I suggest you ask the rep from Herranz - Madrid or Molgra - Terrega. They are the 2 distributors for Keencut in Spain. Herranz is better as they are very machinery led. Also I would send e-mail to Keencut and ask them to send pdf of the instruction book for your model. Hope this helps Keith He...

Would you do this?

Comments are welcomed from any framers who read this topic. We are in the process of developing a range of S/A tapes. The origianl concept was simply to wrap round beep bevels, either over foam or woodpulp.. But the ever creative Pete Bingham has suggested other more enterprising uses as shown in th...

Move to Australia!

Mathematician, You are buying from the wrong supplier! I heard a lovely story from my Australian distributor who was complaining that business is really flat down under. Told me a framer came in and said"I need a little bit of moulding. I've got enough for the other 3 sides I just need a short ...

Forget Halfords check her bottom!

Jeyelle, your story reminds of the 2 ladies below! Girls Night Out Two women friends had gone for a girl's night out. Both were very faithful and loving wives, however they had gotten over-enthusiastic on Bacardi Breezers. Incredibly drunk and walking home, they needed to pee. So they decided ...

48mm wide tapes

I spent most of yesterday with the framing Guru in Sheffield aka Pete. Bingham. He did some surprising things with these 48mm tapes. Mostly wrapping raw wood moulding, then using Everest paints to colour, stipple, then gold top coat and finally rub it with very fine steel wool. Stunning results. Pet...

F.A.T.G.

I would like to see the F.A.T.G in as many overseas counties as is possible. It is commendable that they actually have more members per head of population in New Zealand than they have in the UK. I wish they could repeat this success in another 50 countries. In Australia the PPFA has got themselves ...
