if you are going to stick it to ply or mdf, it is a good idea to stick a piece of canvas (ideally the same weight) to the reverse of the board. This is called a balancer and will counteract any bending of the board due to sticking two pieces of together and absorbing moisture at different rates. thi...

You can also look at the edges, cutting wheels leave a sawtooth type mark, this will be the side that was scored, and therefore the uncoated side

Its true about the waste transport

We recycled board and bits of perspex etc to local schools until a man from the council turned up threatening prosecution for us and them for illegal transportation of trade waste.

got around it by issuing an invoice for £1.00, then it was selling so no problem

John Purcell Paper do a museum board 162 x 218 cms, but only in white
