Looks like plastic moulding you are using? Wood is best.
Check to see if you are using hardwood wedges instead of normal?
Hardwood wedges may have a black dot on top of the cartridge or a white sticker saying hardwood.
Newer hardwood wedges have a yellow insert underneath.

Pete, my brother at Framers Equipment will help and supply new blades and sharpen them to.
You will need to know the boss size (spindle) and what type of wood/ metal your are cutting?

Hi MarkF2009 About a thou gap (thickness of a cigarette paper) between the top and bottom blades is needed.
