Thanks to the people who enquired about this.
I have actually decided to hold onto it for now so will not be offering it for sale at the current time.
I just need to tidy my garage to make more room!

What do customers expect?
I had a slightly bizarre conversation with someone this morning who wanted a price for dismantling an old frame, recutting the frame to fit a smaller picture (including a slip frame) and underpinning/glueing/reassembling it. I worked out that it was about a 30 minute job so said I would charge £20 a...

Re: Pneumatic tab driver
An update on this - The problem actually started after I bought some new tabs (genuine Charnwood T4R) Charnwood sent me a few new tabs to test with my driver and they worked fine so it seemed likely that the tabs were the cause of the problem. I checked the thickness of the tabs with a micrometer. T...

Re: Pneumatic tab driver
I put another set of tabs in it and it seems to work better. I suspect the problem lies with the tabs.
I have got several of the other airline connectors which I no longer use if you want me to pop one in the post to you

Re: Pneumatic tab driver
I ordered a new one from Framers Corner which has just arrived. It's worse than my other one. Jams every time. Haven't successfully ejected a single tab yet. Tried with Framers corner T4R and T4F tabs which are the recommended ones. Very disappointed. Looks as if I will need to get a better one :-(

Re: Pneumatic tab driver
OK thanks. I suppose I should 'come clean' and admit that although I said I had been using it for a year I actually bought it second hand off eBay.
It therefore may have had 5 years of use in addition to my 12 months
I will probably buy a new one as my turnover doesn't justify £x00's

Re: Pneumatic tab driver
Some tab guns work better with some makes of tabs better than others. Some of the cheaper tabs just are too much trouble for the money you think you are saving. I have several well used manual guns and they all work better with the better brand tabs, maybe also with your gun. I use the same make of...

Pneumatic tab driver
I have been using a Charnwood C325 pneumatic tab driver for about a year. Problem is that it has started breaking tabs and jamming. This isn't an occasional issue it happens at least once on each frame assembly. I have taken the end plate off and cleaned/lubricated it but the problem persists. I was...

Yes height no problem. The problem is that there isn't a straight run at the door
