Re: Axcaliber MT1 mitre trimmer
Sadly I haven't got the cash or space for a professional guillotine, so I guess it'll have to do. Will try to make sure I'm very precise though Prospero. Thanks for the advice.

Re: Axcaliber MT1 mitre trimmer
Thanks Chris. Did it do the job? I've got an electric mitre saw and an underpinner. Not looking to go into daily production, but wanted to do a professional looking job of frames for my own work.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Axcaliber MT1 mitre trimmer
Anyone got any views on the Axcaliber trimmer? I haven't got the room or budget for a Morso etc., so wondered if these bench top trimmers would do the trick.
Thanks

Moulding suppliers?
Hi. Wondered if anyone had any good tips on moulding suppliers that you use. I have the Lion catalogues, but wanted to broaden my search a bit.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Pro Turner underpinner question
Thanks Mark. That's really helpful and cleared up a lot of questions I had. I must have the early model, as it has a v shaped clamp. I've just had a delivery of some wedges and the necessary "chute" they go in. Apparently each different size of wedge requires a corresponding size chute to ...

Re: Pro Turner underpinner question
Thanks Ricky. Apparently the wedges need to go in a "chute". I've ordered some wedges and the holder from Peter at Framer's Equipment, so I guess I'll see this mythical "chute" when it arrives. I've read somewhere on here that there are two types of Pro Turner underpinners, one t...

Pro Turner underpinner question
Hi.
Do any of you professional have insight into the Pro Turner underpinner (foot operated)? I've just bought one, but no idea what wedges/vnails it uses. The rest seems to work well.
Thanks
Also, it doesn't seem to have a chute. Can you still get them?
