I've always done it mentally which is easier when working Metric. What I don't like is folk asking for Imperial size frames, or supplying them, whilst I work with ISO paper sizes and ISO crop ratios and Photoshop.
Not a big issue though as I'm just an amateur framer.

Yesterday I downloaded the Logan app for calculating mount border dimensions. http://www.logangraphic.com/free-border-app/ Does anyone here find this useful? I note that I could not vary the width of the bottom border. Also not explained is that you need to enter metric values as Metre not cm values...
