Re: EU Suppliers needed!

I think newcomers would maybe hesitate to go and talk to other framers as they imagine the response would be to wonder why they would help someone become competition to them. In reality, most framers are a friendly bunch (with questionable business sense  ) and would be quite happy to talk sho...

Re: EU Suppliers needed!

Have not been there for a couple of years. When I did they were very helpful the show room is massive, the variety huge, they make many of their own mouldings on site. They did not have a published price list, but were happy to print off anything I was interested in. I would strongly recommend you ...

Re: EU Suppliers needed!

Have you tried moldartpóvoa in Porto? They have a good range of stock. Hi Ian! Thanks for the suggestion, do you have any experience buying from them? Their website dont display the prices so i will have to contact them directly, this would be an outstanding option if they have good prices/stock, s...

Re: EU Suppliers needed!

In the UK there is Arqadia, Wessex, Lion, D&J Simmons to name a few Thanks! Im actually trying to stay away from UK aswell, seeing that Brexit is coming and we are still unsure if the import taxes will be applied from there aswell, trying to get suppliers for the long term and not have to switc...

EU Suppliers needed!

I'm on the hunt for the following items: 1. Wide selection of Crescent Matboards 2. Acid-free white/black Mountboard 3. ...

Re: Pneumatic Stapler

I've checked a couple locally, they are actually even more expensive than buying from Amazon and ship it (at big quantities), both stainless steel and marine grade.

Re: Pneumatic Stapler

That seems a good deal, but are they stainless steel staples?
The best deal i got for those were around 2.5c a staple (euro) for 3000 or 5000 packages, your deal is about half that price.

Re: Pneumatic Stapler

Unfortunally pneumatic is a must, dont want to worry about staples not going all the way thro the material even if its rare ocasions (i will be having a compressor in the shop for the spray painter as it is), as far as shopping within EU its always best, but we get a pretty beaten up price on almost...

Re: Pneumatic Stapler

Yeah thats true, but according to amazon the price of this one would be:
"$29.99 + $36.82 Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to Portugal"

Not that big of a deal when the big brands are well over $100 for aparently the same specs, will continue to research tho.

Pneumatic Stapler

Hey guys! I am around shopping for a pneumatic stapler for canvas stretching work ONLY, it will be on a thick 19mil 450gsm canvas so i hope that any pneumatic stapler drives the staple right thro it without further "nailing" it haha, i came across a brand called Surebound that is a fractio...

Re: Cheap Underpinner

Does it have to be a new machine? A good secondhand machine may solve your budget requirement and still be of reasonable quality at the same time. A 2nd hand machine is very hard to find in here, and when i do find one it is usually a very expensive model (up to 2000e) which they sell for about hal...

Re: Cheap Underpinner

Unfortunately the shipping will blow your budget (don’t believe the price the seller will give on alibaba, these are exclusive of customs charges which will add up) I’ve just imported a machine from China, the shipping cost £300 which I thought was reasonable (I used shippo). The seller offered to ...

Hopefully you can help me out on this quest, i am looking for a cheap underpinner without manual v-nail loading for something below 400 euros, i see the most well known / more spoken of brands are above this price and the models that arent are the ones that you need to reload each v-nail a...
