Re: 'Antique Pine' Moulding

Distressed Pine Frame.jpg I gave up framing a few years back but here is an example of a frame I made from a bare wood pine moulding from Rose & Hollis. The "ageing" was done using a nail punch to made worm holes and the scratching done with the tip of a bradawl. The moulding was stai...

Re: Picture Cord

Fishing line deteriorates in light and goes brittle. That is why fishing tackle shops sell so much of the stuff because it is regularly replaced.

Re: New Premises Found!

Are you into Urban Art?

Most of the Urban Art publishers are based around there (as you probably know) so could well be a great location.

Re: Multi-aperture photo mount

Or as Robo says but use a piece of that sticky board with the peel off paper and set your blade depth so that is just goes through the paper. I would be surprised if it was not Daler

Re: Lacquer Moulding

I had this problem some time back and got replacements sent which were as bad if not worse. The company concerned sent the rep to take a look and he said that it was pretty much as it comes and they would not credit or replace.

I have found Simons to be the best for laquers.

Photo of display stands. Note these are the five panel versions. Can be dismantled for transportation. Would like these picking up by end of May due to relocation.

2 Selwyns Moulding Display Units

Due to moving to smaller premises we have two Selwyns Moulding Display Units for sale. Each one has five 12" x 60" double sided panels which take chevrons cut to 19cm long edge. The panels are carpet covered so the chevrons can be attached using velcro. The centre of the panels has gone a ...

Re: Moulding out of stock until July help....

I ordered a pack of Claryl once from Arqadia after some upselling by the Rep. It came with Night Freight (?Fright), two man delivery packed in an outer crate which they had to remove it from and the get me to sign that it was intact. Another strong box was inside the crate and more packaging inside ...

Re: Moulding out of stock until July help....

Seems to work for Wessex Pictures who are based a stones throw away in Dereham. To the extent that they have been putting on an extra van on some rounds. I think Nielsen could greatly expand their customer base if they got out and sold themselves or maybe they are happy with their existing customer ...

You are lucky to be able to get a single length from Nielsen.

Some of us who are much closer to their depot don't get the luxury of a van delivery.
