Box Extender Glue
Hi All,
I have some 115mm shadow box extension from Lion, but am struggling to join it, the glue I have seems to just soak in. Ca n anybody tell me which glue they use, also any tips to keep it square, I have a strap type clamp to help. Would much appreciate any advice.

Mounting a beret
Hi all,
I am looking for some guidance as to present a beret as part of a shadow box medal display. How can I attach it to the mount, hook and loop, mighty mount? I am at a bit of a loss so any advice from more experienced framers would be much appreciated.

Re: St Ives Framing Advice
Thanks all for the replies, to give a bit of perspective, I am primarily a photographer but am rapidly finding framing as satisfying. Both my dad and brother were shipwrights, dad often rose at 4 to light the steamer to steam the wood to shape for a new stem. I’ve got an adze (May be spelt wrong but...

Re: St Ives Framing Advice
Thanks both for your replies, innovating, yes pretty much at the minute. Getting by though, working out what I can use instead of tools/materials is a challenge at times. Thanks again, let's go off piste a bit.

St Ives Framing Advice
I am trying to keep myself busy, and use this opportunity to learn new frame styles. I have purchased some St Ives moulding from Lion, looking at the photos I can find of frames using this there is no glass or mountboard. ( I understand the mount is to separate the picture from the glass, so no glas...

Friendly and knowledgeable Pete is also full of technical advice and can help to equip a workshop. No I wasn't asked to post this, but thought it might help others ...
