The plastic lip is not your problem - turn the cutter over & look in the roller housing head - you will see a shaped steel plate - held by the spring mechanism - pull back the spring - remove the non return plate & you can cut both ways. SIMPLES as that bloody meercat says

why not also show them an image that has been drymounted on one half & not on the other half. This is always an effective way to demonstrate the benefits of drymounting - over hinging & the customer can "see the difference"... What are the top three reasons a customer buys a limite...
