Re: Legitimate use for Masking Tape in the framing workshop.

Urgent Warning!!!

Masking tape is not a good alternative to a proper plaster - how do I know - experience!!!

Nothing looks worse on a picture than blood - but coffee comes a pretty close second - pass the biscuits!!!

Wow - a photo show too - my original "area of expertise" all the way back to 1979 - before getting into the framng side in 1993 - I am sure the export team will need an "old fart" like me - just to get the coffees in

Re: FrameArt Expo - European Fine Art & Frame Exhibition

With the "much rumoured death" of QUADRUM SACA - THE BIG SHOW - in Europe it would seem that a replacement would pop up somewhere. Europe tends to be "off my radar" at times - as we now have a big team of field sales & internal people dedicated to dealing with it - leaving me...

Re: Factory Clearance - Framing Eqp Must Go! Great Offers

I can confirm that the HGP360 is not yet 12 months old & has hardly been used - bargain price if anyone needs one. I would be happy to support any purchaser with tech support / samples / training info etc.

Re: Effecting the value of a print

[quote="prospero"]The main thing with framing 'collectable' prints (and anything else for that matter) is that you should be able to un-frame it and never know that it had been framed. OK, you probably would never need to, but the point is, you could. Some drymount tissues claim to be reve...

Re: deep rebate black box moulding

I think I know the moulding... Take a picture & look up megawood mouldings in Brisbane on the web. They actually offer a chop service too - so if it is the same one they could sea freight it quite cheaply (seriously). email Mark O'Rouke & mention my name - if it is the same one then it is di...

Re: Laminating something bigger than my press ?

This advice is a little late - but I have been away... Your Jetmounter will work with material up to 650mm wide & the rollers themselves are 670mm wide. When you need to go bigger - give me a call & your postcode. From this I can usually recommend a "reputable" person close by with...

I then cut through the board and released the photo on the board. Steve suggested I put...
