Re: Fillet Master Instructions Anyone?

If anyone has a pdf of the manual, I would love to add it to the framing manuals library.
Thanks

Re: AI/ChatGpt

I will be updating to a newer version in July. Eventually, I want to add the image generation feature - which lets you basically "create art". It's kind of scary, in that sense, especially with copyright concerns. I asked the current one a bunch of questions about the framing industry, tre...

Re: AI/ChatGpt

It's an interesting discussion! I see it currently as no more of a threat as Google is, and in fact many search engines have or will be using this tech as well. The irony is I put ChatGPT up on a framing forum in march. It was mostly used for silly questions, and hasn't been as popular as I would ha...

Re: Shortage of moulding stock at suppliers ....

We have been seeing the same thing in USA. Between new long term covid related shut downs in Asian countries and shipping related delays and price increases, many products are delayed. Demand for framing has also been high since 2000, with many shops being very busy. I'm sure this also puts higher d...

Framing Equipment Manuals Needed

Hi We have collected 327 framing equipment manuals so far, and have them online as a free industry resource. I would love to include as many relevant manuals as possible, especially for equipment where the vendor has gone out of business. Most equipment lasts forever, and future generations of frame...

Re: Will longer pneumatic hose reduce air pressure noticeably?

I would think that the more hose or pipe you have, the more compressed air that your system will be able to store between cycles of running the pump. it essentially "increases" the storage tank size. So more hose would mean a more constant level of pressure, not a lack of it. We have a ver...

Re: Is it possible to run a business without a landlines

Voice over IP is another very inexpensive alternative. That's what we have used for our shop for the past 6+ years (and at home for more than 10 years) It costs a fraction of the price, and works with some pretty fancy phones (or existing analog phones, if you equip it accordingly). You just plug th...

Re: Security Camera System

I'm surprised the local Amazon in your country doesn't stock these, too. For the inexpensive ones that stream to a cloud server, I have recommended at least a dozen of the inexpensive Wansview cams. https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Security-Wansview-Detection-Compatible/dp/B07QKXM2D3/ref=sr_1_3?crid=...

Re: Security Camera System

I have always preferred wired vs wireless. The POE type systems are excellent. (Power over ethernet) It uses the ethernet for the camera signal, and uses some of the unused wires to supply power to your cameras. This way, it will run at a higher speed with no signal quality/loss issues, and won't be...
