If your moulding is hard wood, I should be wary of using too deep a wedge, as even the hard-wood wedges may split along the spine, curl outwards, and very likely exit through the back of your carefully cut moulding lengths, causing high blood pressure, danger to passers-by from flying objects and ...

I have been given a large photograph (100x70cm) to re-frame. It's mostly in good condition, but has a slight "ripple" or "wave"all the way across, which does not respond to simple pressing. The photo is supposed to have some value (although the photo paper is probably not of the best ...
