Collection from Edinburgh. Hello, we’ve upgraded our mitre saw and have our trusty old Prisma CE for sale in good working condition. Re: Is it just me?
If they are oil paints then a little heat can soften them for stretching, even if they are another paint medium some heat can still help. If you have a small fan heater then try to hang the canvases in front, you don't want them to be hot, just warm.

Trying to find an Ashworth moulding. Do you have any?
Hi All, I'm trying to source a supplier for a brown distressed veneer frame we used to get from Ashworth & Thompson. The mouldings are still viewable on their website(codes below) but they don't have any stock left. The next problem is determining exactly which brown we used to buy (haven't boug...

Re: FramR pricing software issues.
Update, All sorted now and fully working, John from Framiac figured it all out. There were a few glitches within the recent update and one of our laptops still had the old version (which was switched off and hidden away) which was causing the Pro version to glitch. Hi all, Are any other users of Fr...

Re: FramR pricing software issues.
Thanks for your reply, It’s all working again. We had issues after they released an update (you may not have updated through the Microsoft store yet) but John seems to have fixed it all. We were having a meltdown as we use it over two stores and had to provide guesstimate type quotes and tell custom...

They did a software update and we had some issues that over the hours of us not being able to price jobs did get fixed, then another issue that was also fixed but now we can’t get access, we simply can’t login, just a frozen sc...

Re: dry mounting-farm out
If not dealt with yet, there is a dry mount price list here http://www.amimage.co.uk we use them here in Edinburgh all the time as we only have a 4'x3' hotpress and absolutely will not drymount photos bigger than 20"x16" due to orange peel or lifting when using sticky board (when using sti...

Where's this moulding from?
Hi folks,
I have a customer with this moulding and she wants us to frame a bunch more in the same moulding.
It started life as a Bare Wood, probably Obeche but who sells it? if any of you know please reply to this.
Thanks in advance
Jamie

Re: Cross pinning...???
We just use our cordless drill/screwdriver and a tiny nail for the drill bit, or you can buy tiny drill bits fixed into a hex type head to fit cordless screwdrivers but pricy when they keep breaking. The glue called Mitre Tite works a treat, loads of other folk make it too under a different name, it...

Re: Focus On Imaging
One idea to counter act this may be to start our own buying group. I put this to the FATG many years ago but they're so tied up with trade suppliers it was never going to be considered. There will be items of hardware that we all use day in day out. With some volume we could negotiate with manufactu...
